Literature-Map is a site that gives you a diagram of authors that it thinks you might like based on the author you put in the search bar. The closer to the original author the new one is, the more closely related they are to your search author. Here is an example for J. K. Rowling. Check it for yourself, it's great!

SQUEEZED MIDDLE is the word of the year 2011...

In a year like this, it is hardly surprising that the tone is a sombre one. Financial hardship and protest on an unprecedented scale have scored the English language language deeply (and no doubt many others too)!
